About Brevyn
A legal technology company that refuses the usual trade-off.
Brevyn is an early-stage company based in Vadodara, Gujarat. We are building artificial intelligence for law firms, courts and in-house legal teams — designed from the start to run on their own infrastructure rather than ours.
Why we started
Legal work is built on confidence: that what a client tells their lawyer stays between them, that a court's records stay in the court's hands. Every professional obligation in the field rests on that assumption.
Artificial intelligence is unusually well suited to legal work — dense documents, strict deadlines, enormous volumes of precedent. But the way it is normally delivered asks legal teams to send exactly the material they are obliged to protect to a third party they do not control, in a jurisdiction they may not have chosen.
Most firms respond the only sensible way: they use these tools cautiously, partially, or not at all. The result is that the organisations with the most to gain from AI are the ones getting the least from it.
We started Brevyn because we do not think that trade-off is actually necessary. The intelligence can go to the data instead of the data going to the intelligence.
Our vision
Every legal institution should have AI as capable as the best cloud tools — without surrendering custody of its most confidential material.
We think the current trade-off is a false one. The firms, courts and legal teams handling the most sensitive matters in the country are exactly the ones being asked to take the biggest risk to get any benefit from AI. Brevyn exists to remove that choice — to make local, private, fully-owned legal AI the normal option rather than the expensive exception.

Custody before capability
If a feature requires a client's privileged data to leave their environment, we do not ship it. That constraint shapes every technical decision we make.
Built with practitioners
Legal workflows are specific, local and full of exceptions. We design alongside the people who actually run matters rather than guessing from the outside.
Say what is true
We are pre-launch and we say so. No invented customers, no certifications we do not hold, no capability claims the product cannot meet today.
Own the whole stack
Running inside someone else's environment means we cannot lean on managed services to paper over gaps. We build the parts that have to be ours.
