Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 August 2026

Brevyn (“we”, “us”) builds software for legal teams. We take the same view of your data on this website that we take of our clients' data in our products: collect as little as possible, be specific about why, and never trade it away.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data collected through https://brevyn.com — our public website. It does not cover the Brevyn product, which is not yet generally available and which will be governed by a separate agreement with each client organisation.

2. What we collect

Information you send us through the contact form. That is your name, email address, and — optionally — your organisation, your stated role, and the content of your message. You choose what to put in it.

Information you send us by email. If you write to us directly, we hold that correspondence.

Standard server logs held by our host. This site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP address and browser type in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We do not use this data to build a profile of you.

3. What we do not collect

We want to be specific here, because it is unusual. This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It contains no advertising pixels, and no third-party embeds that could track you across sites. Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than from a third-party font service.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

4. Why we use it and on what basis

We use the information you send us for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it, and where relevant to discuss working together. The legal basis is your consent, given when you choose to contact us, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business.

5. Who sees it

Contact form submissions are delivered by email to our own inbox, and are read by the founders and, in time, colleagues who need to see them to reply. We use the following third parties strictly as infrastructure:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
  • Our email provider — transmission and storage of the message.

We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless we are legally required to.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation it relates to, and for our business records afterwards. If you would like your message deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. You can withdraw your consent to us holding it at any time. To do any of these, write to hello@brevyn.com. We will respond as promptly as we can.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered over an authenticated, TLS-encrypted mail connection. No transmission over the internet is ever perfectly secure, so please do not send us confidential client material or privileged information through this form.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about how we handle data, can go to hello@brevyn.com, or by post to Brevyn, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
